Installation instructions appalling. Wasted lots of time. Pictures were not helpful. Instructions should have had written details of pitfalls to avoid.

No mention that a T10 star type screw driver is required to fit the blind. Fortunately I had one of these in my tool box! There are no plastic plates included in the fixing pack for the main blind cassette to be clipped on to - 1st step in the fixing instructions!. Fortunately I was replacing a very old blind so had these plates already in situ. Is it assumed that all Velux windows have these fixing plates already installed?? No Idea how you would get hold of these if required.

The instructions for installing the product were not clear enough - more steps closer sketches/photos. if Velux do not want to do lots of languages an official YouTube clip of a person installing the exterior blind would be the perfect solution.

I received e mails to confirm order and dispatch and initial contact from Envri but no further info about delivery date or time. Fortunately we were in when the courier called . I have given the same comments to Envri. Everything else was good and the product does exactly what it says and is easy to use.
