Used the QR code on window to get correct blind size, easy to order and very happy could customise colour - husband thought was easy to install and we are thrilled with the finished look

Fitted as soon as arrived, easy to fit, the solar operation worked as indicated in the instructions. Seems a good operation in opening and closing, obviously can't comment on the reliability as its my first purchase of this type of blind, but happy with this purchase from Velux.

Order was delivered, the delivery service left it with a neighbour; however, we had no idea where it had been left. I had to phone up to find out where, the delivery service then was unable to tell me anything so had to call you directly. This could have been more efficiently done but a confirmation note of where the item had been delivered, and with a number to call to seek confirmation on your website.

Items ordered but needed a delivery date of 2.5 weeks from order, (16 June). This was set up on the website & confirmed. After a week got an email stating delivery scheduled for 13 June. Contacted Customer Support who stated they could do nothing, I should contact delivery ‘partner’. Notified early morning of 10 June that delivery that day! We were not at home & neighbours inconvenienced. Just not good enough. Cannot see why Velux are unable to comply with agreed arrangements. Spoiled an otherwise good experience.

Whilst I ordered the correct blind model (as dimensions were a perfect fit), the holeless bracket that already came fitted with the window were not compatible with the main blind slider mechanism that I ordered. I hoped some brackets (with screw holes) would've been included in the box so I could replace these but they weren't. These holed brackets are referenced via diagrams in the included manual, causing some slight confusion. Had to result in a DIY solution to hold up the main horizontal blind slider but annoyed having to pay £70+ for a first-party product that doesn't offer spares in the box. Can't fault the blind itself, as that works as it should.
