No problem with the product itself but the illustration-only instructions Required a bit of a fathoming! It would be useful maybe to have instructions how to remove the old blind (this was my need) as well

The samples haven’t arrived

We have had to replace a few of these blinds now in our house. We are very pleased with the new blinds and find them easy to install. We do find it tricky to get the old blind out!

After I enquired about the whereabouts of my item, I felt I was fobbed off with the "it's in customs" answer, which it has been for the last week, going backwards and forwards in the same building

Velux blinds are not very well supported. I have six around the house,both solar and electric.After the end of the warranty you are unable to get an engineer to call out.The network of approved engineers is poor and they are usually unwilling to attend your premises for a small job.We are elderly and cannot climb up to high ceiling blinds.Fortunately we know a reliable blinds engineer who can usually help us. However the instructions are very difficult to follow and not at all clear.It is usually necessary to call in to your technical support and be talked through the processes.I think that Velux blinds are treated as a secondary product to the windows and therefore are poorly supported.It is a great shame because the blinds themselves are neat,tidy and a very good product.

I've spoken to two really clued up people recently, guiding me through what i need to order. Not only were they polite, friendly and professional, they made me feel listened to. the Windows we have are really old, a testament to their build quality. when I was ordering, I felt a little lost, not knowing which product would fit the windows we have. The phone advisers were so switched on, they navigated me round and even put up with my green-ness in finding the code I needed.
