We recently bought the Velux Venetian blinds to fit to our Velux windows that were installed 10 yrs ago. Ordering was easy, delivery on time and installation was much simpler than expected. The blinds are excellent, look really good and are great for controlling the sunlight into our loft rooms. One part was missing but the customer service was excellent and we received the part promptly. The blinds have made such a difference and we wish we had bought them when originally had the windows installed. Ex Ellen’s all round product and service.

Faults in website plus on line help not working. Called 6 times with no answer and when elected to be called back no response and then cut off . Unable to comment on product as unable to order

I needed to purchase a special screwdriver to be able to complete the installation, (a TX 5 I think?) whereas it could have been included in the installation kit, as it was relatively inexpensive.

The instructions seem to be only suitable for people who have previously had Velux installation experience. I suggest a trial using these instructions in situations where people are known to have zero experience of Velux but some DIY skills. This work would likely show several improvement requirements.

The blinds arrived damaged in transit by the courier but I contacted customer service who were very helpful and they were replaced straight away. The blinds are really lovely and easy to fit. Great customer service which gives me the confidence to order again and recommend to others. Thank you
