The screwdriver was frustrating because I was working at a height installing the solar power blinds and the blade of the screwdriver often fell out! Everything else was brilliant! It all went together smoothly and if it didn't there was a reason for it. All easily solved.

The product is fantastic. Easy to fit, high quality, no tools really needed, very impressive piece of production engineering for consumer use. My one criticism is that there is too much extra plastic with all the plastic clips holding the guide lines etc in place. Please try to reduce the amount used.

The three blinds that I bought for some 35 year old Velux windows were ideal and fitted well first time. I would like the instructions to be in English rather than just pictures, which weren't the best to follow. Youtube helped with the fitting process, but it all went without a hitch after that. As the windows were so old, I needed an extra piece to allow the blinds to attach to the top of the frame. These were easy to do, but I think they could have included free of charge as they were only a small square of plastic. Overall, Velux are a good company and the blinds are of good quality and pretty simple to fit.

The blinds are relatively simple to fit if you have diy skills but they do seem fairly flimsy and not sure how they will last with daily use. The insect blinds however are awful and being returned. They are bulky, ugly and ridiculously expensive having to purchase two and a kit for most windows and look a nightmare to fit. Whilst they have video showing how to fit the simpler straight insect blind, there is nothing showing the more complex knee wall insect blind which requires the two blinds and a fixing kit. Probably too complicated to show.. The returns procedure is particularly fussy and time consuming requiring uploaded pictures, form with all the code numbers of all returning items submitted by email for consideration over 72hrs. The t&c’s specify that any with damaged boxes or red tags removed cannot be returned. No information about any return charges so left guessing. The website is particularly unhelpful around the returns procedure and any costs to the customer. They could do well to look at other companies simple return procedures. Would I buy from them again? Maybe the blinds dependant on how well they perform. The insect blinds, an absolute unequivocal NO!

The onto thing I would say is that I accidentally ordered the wrong one first because the numbers are all very similar. I think it should be a bit clearer.
