Very confusing ordering process - I ended up ordering the wrong package of one internal and one external blind. I was refused the opportunity to return the unused external blind despite that it was still packaged and could have been resold. The internal one had been fixed before I realised my mistake so I could not return the whole package. Now, I have paid too much and have a useless blind.
The screws included needed a torx screwdriver, which was a bit of a pain as I had to go out and buy a new set. But once I had the correct tools, installation was straightforward. Happy with Velux quality.
Product is of good quality and well made. Competitively priced. Delivery was very quick (2 working days). Easy to install and use
The side bars were too long and didn’t fit around the lower plastic lugs so had to be modified with a hacksaw. There is a 5mm gap where the blind doesn’t fit flush with the lower border of the Velux frame.
