Delivery was left out in the rain. Driver did not buzz. Hoping new blind is not ruined!

I’m disabled but it was very easy to instal. I have two Velux windows but at the time of instalment (about 15 years ago) I only put a blind on the larger window. The smaller window has the sunlight longer so I decided to get a blind for this one. All the information for the size of the window is recorded by code on the window itself so ordering a blind for it was very, very easy.

Arrived with important parts missing (not immediately obvious) Making even the initial attachment impossible - with head unit locking parts unattachable, wires already loose and tangled, as well incorrectly fitted out of the box - again not immediately obvious the extent of the problem to a DIY customer. Plastic shielding finish just fell off at one point. Alleged, 3 minutes DIY fitting (surely a joke?) took 2 hrs on a high ladders for a decent fitter. 2hrs gives you time to look at the mechanism, which as a whole couldn't be worth more that £20 of plastic and metal. If it had been that cheap, I'd have thrown it in the bin. But at around £150, Velux should be ashamed putting this massively overpriced, badly thought out, poorly presented, attrociously designed piece of tat on the market. The Q & A suggests you already know your selling a three legged dog at hugely inflated rates. As bad a piece of equipment as I've received in 5 decades, especially for the price. Scadalously expensive. My advice to any customer is to try and do without a blind at all or make an alternative of your own, which in hindsight seems like a better option. Unfortunately, I feel ripped off. And the next time you send a 'How did we do?' request, don't send it a week before the package is due to arrive.
