1.the web site doesn’t describe the real product that I supposed to order. Blind functions are not as described well on the web site. 2. Had e-mail confirming the dispatch of my order which l had to chase as the primary delivery was not to be made. To be told that no date was confirmed after that. Two days later received and other e-mail saying that the item is on the way with a delivery date which l forwarded to customer service to be told that l will receive a tracking number. No tracking number was send to me and then you have delivered the item 3 days earlier than the delivery date. The driver left it unattended (£280) outside near the door. Good job that it didn’t rain has we was not in to receive the parcel. As the box is not waterproof the blind would have been ruined. Not happy with the service

I received multiple emails regarding delays. No information was provided. I continued receiving these even though I had received a despatch email already. Customer service told me it was delayed and they had no timescale for delivery. Ridiculous. Parcel literally delivered the next day. Customer service and order process was awful. Unacceptable for a company the size of velux. Really unprofessional.

Use a different courier If you use Royal Mail you can get Monday to sat delivery . And you won’t get charged if the delivery falls on sat .Not like parcelforce which charges you when you are not in £12.50 for sat £5 for post office delivery £1.50 sorting office delivery There is no incentive to deliver at all when you can get another bite at the cake .Or use another courier with 7 day delivery and track it

I did have to guess at what I needed in order to have someone put the blind up and use it. Fortunately I ordered the fitting I needed and the attachment to pull it down. I had a local tradesman fit it and he was able to do so very quickly.

I ordered my Velux remote order no. 19183475 Over a week ago. It has been sat in an EVRI depot since last Wednesday 4th June. I have chased EVRI and they have been very unhelpful and slow. Apparently they are now trying to track down my parcels location in the depot, currently without any success. I phoned Velux a couple of days ago but have heard nothing. Please do not use EVRI for delivrothey are completely useless. I would appreciate a reply and my remote that I ordered. My email address is andy_penn@icloud.com

This is hurtling towards a 1-star review across the board. Velux is an established brand and I've installed many of their products but everything about my last order was a disaster. I ordered the solar electric blind kit and it was a mess - it was late, the cords were knotted, wrapped around other components, stuffed in a box with no hope of following the slightly-shit instructions that absolutely don't illustrate how the product fits together. It does so jankily. At head-height as per the videos it's possibly a better experience, but my windows are 3.5 metres in the air and getting the exact angle on both sides is a frikkin nightmare. I got the unit slotted together ahead of time to practice, then followed the instructions to the letter, not that they're comprehensive. It didn't work. took it down, examined the unit and found numerous faults with quality control - plastic and clips misaligned. Basic errors that suggest the spiral of decline has begun. Corrected the manufacturing faults and it failed again - starting to worry about the torx heads and wood integrity at this point. Attempt 3 saw me simulating the process at ground level, where it worked. clip it all back into place on the window and we see another failure. The blinds go down. Not back up again though. I have no idea where to start with the diagnosis of this failure - was it the badly packaged cords? Can it work without cords that don't seem to have a role? I don't really have time for this sh*t. I don't want to become an expert in the field of someone else's poorly designed and executed product. This amateur nonsense cost £250 at least per window. Extremely unimpressive.
