On the first of two blinds the right hand runner was slightly bent which made fitting difficult The second was perfect.

The shopping experience was simple, delivery was fast and the blinds were easy to install. I watched a YouTube video called ‘ Velux installation’ which was only a few minutes long but helped us avoid any mistakes. The blackout blinds look great and I feel a bit proud of myself and hubby!

Ordered 2 blinds first one we opened had no instructions used video to put together from Utube Took an age to put together! Did 2nd one next day instructions in the box!! easy to put together when you have these Another point the 2 plastic pieces that fit in the bottom of the blind runner were loose in box of 1st blind with no instruction to insert the on the video my husband had to take the 1st blind down to slot these in Why wasn’t the box checked for instructions and also ensure the two plastic pieces were either in some sort of packaging so that you know they are to be used? What’s it the returned item? Don’t expect this sort of service from company of your size. These blinds were not cheap! Blinds are lovely apart from the faff!!!

My old blinds of more than 15 years had sealed shut. I got a lot of info off of the Internet and Velux site on how to remove the old blinds and fit the new versions. I have basic diy skills, but found the videos and included instructions really easy to follow. The updated blinds are so much easier to use. A very positive experience
