I’m not the best at DIY but the instructions were so easy to follow and the installation was very easy to do alone. I made sure to carefully follow each step and it went without a hitch. Very happy with this.

It was fairly easy to instal, but required a bit of brute force to make the screw holes!

As the cord is the main failure point on a Velux blind why not make it so you can get replacements? My delivery was a day late. I was not advised of this or when my parcel was actually being delivered. When or if a service is late it is your responsibility to advise the customer.

I had blinds for another window years ago, easy. This time it has been a nightmare and impossible to manage solo. For this size, the lugs don’t hold the blind in place. Screws need to be introduced as you hold the blind in place and partially unwrap the blind to access screw hole. Impossible to manage with only 2 hands. Difficulty of pushing side rails in place can’t but help mark the bottom of the frame. None of the videos I watched indicate the difficulty experienced.

Our blind was due to be delivered on Friday 16th the comment from delivery company was - consignee moved away!!! Have no idea what they mean and we have paid for a blind we still have not received. Will be contacting velux on Monday
