The replacement product was an updated version of my original blind, so fitting was not straightforward - I had to refer to online instructions from YouTube, as there was no indication of what steps were required for the updated product. However, the new version is much better and less likely to need replacing in the future compared to the original blind.

The solar blind works great. I retrofitted it into an existing velux rooflight without any issues. I initially was a little worried that it wasn't blocking out enough light, but in fact it has significantly reduced the heat from the sun which is exactly what I wanted

I was told I was receiving 20 boxes, not 1, asked to be contacted by complaints team. Was promised I'd hear back, never did. Turns out the 20 boxes will not be arriving as I was sent the wrong link and ordered them to the UK. Asked for delivery to be redirected or cancelled, told today it probably will be. New order coming via Irish site. Really annoyed with having to contact Velux so many times, but getting no response.
