Blinds not very good quality compared to previous Velux blinds. Instructions impossible to follow and I’m an engineer who follows product manuals & drawings on a daily basis. If they don’t make any sense to me, then there’s is no hope for any one else :(
Customer Service representatives are great, polite, helpful and friendly, very helpful. Product whilst not cheap is of excellent quality and really quick and easy to fit. Delivery service was a disaster. 4 failed attempts, with no update to Velux or customer upon failed delivery. Incorrect information on the tracking (said we refused the delivery, when the driver didn\'t even get down the road). No resolution available aside from \"your customer just has to wait\". Item was over a week delayed, packaging was damaged on arrival. Delays and inconvenience was made up for by excellent customer service on the phone.

Box was delivered damaged with strings of the blind hanging out but thankfully all was ok on fitting. Maybe it could be packaged in a plastic bag then into the box to minimise any damage to blind if box gets broken.
By using the window model numbering system the ordering of accessories such as blinds is made straightforward.
Nothing to improve based on my transaction. Everything worked well and easy to navigate.
Once I had inspected the components and the instructions I thought i would be able to install the blind reasonably easily - however I did have to uninstall it and inspect the parts more closely to get it correct. Perhaps a more detailed illustration of how the mitred end of the side runners slide into the top runner would be helpful?
