This is a replacement for a velux blind. The gaps round the edges allow more light through than the old blind. There are four \'holes\' in the blind material that allow large pinprick of light through. The action to open and close is not as satisfactory as the old blind. Sorry but a serious drop in quality. Unfortunately there seem to be few options. If I could be bothered I\'d return. But does feel as if velux is taking advantage here. Hope that helps.
It was a shame to have to recycle elements that were perfectly good and did not need replaced.
Very happy with new blind - surprised how easy it was to find the right product and fit it - no wonder Velux are so well known - very impressed!
Well I\'ve got to pay for my blind to be fitted again so not happy .. what can I say .... I\'ve had window in for years and no problems . Comes to blind and black out has a little bit that shines through ??? Problem I\'ve got its high in a extension so builder needs to go up on ladder to fix !
There was some confusion over mounting brackets being included or not, the communication on this was clear, but the website information inaccurate. Issue was resolved very easily with no complaints.
