We had real difficulties getting the old blinds down. The Velux instructions made it look relatively easy. We found it impossible to remove the blinds using the Velux instructions. We went onto the internet and found a man there who had the same problem as we had. With the help of his video that he shared we got the blinds down no problem. Velux could have done better.
I am STIL waiting for the separate delivery of mounting joints…having received the blinds 2-3 days ago. No one said there would be 2 separate deliveries. Luckily I did not remove the temporary light blocking newspapers - held on by sellotape - before discovering was still missing the mounting parts.
Blind professionally installed when then pulled open we noticed two holes and and a number of oil marks on blind .this blind should be replaced

To make à perfect / non error decision on blinds with decor already completed Velux made the decision process so easy, we chose our colours, ordered colour samples, velux sent samples, very quickly & enabled us to match, and place an order for 4 duo blinds in 2 days, which saved us a lot of very time consuming searching. A very big thank you Velux, and well done for saving us from lots of arguments in the process of getting the match just right in a vaulted ceiling with large velux windows. Great
Ask for a delay on the suggested delivery but parcel was delivered on the original when we were away and the package left by the front door untended for 36 hours
