Fitting was easy, the hardest part was removing the old blind which was the draw string style. The new blind is a much better design and no longer using the strings.
Parcel Force lost my original order, but I received an immediate replacement from Velux and have been really impressed by their Customer Service Department for the quality of support I received.
I had problems with my product being delivered and I believe this is why:- When being asked about the delivery address I was able to find and select the correct full delivery address by inputting the postcode. But then I\'m asked about the invoice address which seems one can only input manually for which there are mandatory fields, one of which is for the \'number\' of the address, but our address does not have a number, only a name and the box for the number will not accept letters, only numbers. Therefore I was forced to leave this filed blank!. And further to this for some reason the invoice address then takes presidents over the initial delivery address, therefore the resultant address ended up without a place name or number so it was undeliverable. Please can you rectify this issue as something seems quite obviously wrong with this part of the ordering process. Many Thanks
Very comprehensive but not a particularly user friendly experience to use. Navigation to find the links I needed was torturous all it kept wanting to do is sell rather than help!
I bought two velux blinds for our loft. I fitted the first one after reading the manual a couple of times in 20 minutes. The second one was the wrong size (I would love to blame Velux but I think it might have been my fault). I called customer service and the lady could not have been calmer and more helpful. The replacement arrived and I fitted the blind in 12 minutes, single handed. (Congential amputation of right forearm). Next time I will target a sub ten minute fitting. And Velux collected the second blind. Great service and a great product.
I hired a handy man to fit and neither of us could understand the instructions. I paid for his time, but it wasn’t installed.
Ordered 3 blinds one was slightly damaged and the Staff we dealt with were highly professional supportive nothing was a problem and it was dealt with efficiently and replaced straight away could not fault any of the process so would like to thank them for the great experience would highly recommend
I still haven’t received my order. You have sent me ludicrous automated emails, including two saying my order is on its way, that order being for zero products. It makes you look like idiots.
