Unfortunately we had a problem with our Velux blind which we didn’t get round to reporting for quite a while, though it was still under guarantee. (Probably because of the heart-sinking feeling of potential hassle that might be to come). All that was required was a photo to demonstrate the issue and the subsequent replacement was confirmed without hesitation. We were given a clear description of what would happen next - and it did. Thank you very much.

I am a commercial fitter and i find the velux blind system to be an excellent product which is very well designed with very clear and easy fitting instructions.

The installation booklet would benefit from a clear written instruction narrative in addition to the illustrations. I needed quite a bit of help to install my blind. The staff were helpful when I contacted Velux though. One slight ‘niggle’ - It would’ve been good to have been told at the initial point when I bought the thermally blind that I needed the additional upper brackets for fitting the blind, since my Velux roof light is a very old model. Having to wait for the 2 additional brackets slowed down the fitting process but I’m very pleased with the end result. Got there in the end!! It’s an expensive addition to the window but it looks good.

The blind was a replacement for blind fitted 6 years ago. Didn’t realise that you had modified the blind to exclude cords that didn’t seem to last. I guess I will be replacing our other blind as also 6 years old.

One of the blinds was faulty and after speaking to the technical department they confirmed that a replacement was required and immediately organised it. Very friendly and polite technician. Great customer service.
