Product is excellent but it required a special tool for the screws (and to unscrew the previous blind). It was not obvious to me that it needed anything more than a cross head screwdriver or an Allen key. I was on the point of calling out a Velux specialist but I eventually found the right head in a multi tool kit that I had never used before.

I am still waiting delivery for my parcel that I ORDERED 23/7/25!! I have not been told of a new delivery date by DSV since it didn't arrive on the forecasted date 24/7/2025. It is now 3/8/25 and still no sign of it!!!!! Very disappointed with the DSV delivery service.

Slighter harder to install than my 1st velux blind ,but also many years later. The blind is the same good quality and strength & hope to have it for many years. Good quality blinds for velux windows instead of trying your luck with a copycat brand that will be inferior

The product was fine, your address details given to your delivery agent EVRI were not !!! My full address is Peter Phillips, 14 Thomas Court, Longden Coleham, Shrewsbury SY3 7EX. However, the adhesive label that you attached to the long white cardboard tube with your Logo on it was cut off to the left side and therefore just showed "eter Phillips 4 Longden Coleham, HREWSBURY Y3 7EX. Even if the label had not been cut off my address is 14 Thomas Court (the number within the block of flats) NOT 14 Longden Coleham (the road alonside which the block of flats is situated !! It was therefore a wonder (and a trbute to him) that your EVRI driver managed to find me without the full postcode and missing Thomas Court. Why don't you check these things before handing over the package to EVRI ?? I would welcome your response concerning this ineptitude. If you wish to phone me my number is 07710 350899. Yes I do, I had an older GHL206 window with the old type fixing brackets, nowhere (that I could see) did it say that you MUST purchase these plastic fixings if your window is pre 2012 (which mine was) so when the blind arrived it said not GHL but RHL, it would not fit I spent an hour or more messing with it before getting in touch to return the blind, as I thought they had sent the wrong one, then I had to wait 7 days (not the 3 days it said ) waiting for an email from returns in the end it did come and they again put on RHL I spoke to your customer service and they said it wa sthe correct blind, but if I had the older type window I would need the new type brackets!!!! Why wasn't I told this before?? I then had to wait another 5 days for the brackets which cost me another £11.00 This should be easier to see on your website thats why I am disappointed with Velux

Overall been a good experience, I had a slight issue where the string cords weren’t equal in length, but when raising this issue to the after sales team they were prompt and accurate with the answer and all is resolved now.

The addition of guides at the top sides of the new window that the cassette clicks onto (in contrast to my original window) made fitting the new blind easier. The online video and clear written instruction leaflet also helped. The customer support agent, to whom I spoke about the correct blind for my new window, was extremely clear and helpful.
