Really good service and delivery. Have one query - is there any way to best recycle the old Velux blinds that these are replacing?
I was impressed by the advise I received from your customer service team when I was unsure about how to remove the (very old) blind before replacing it with the new one. I am also impressed by how easy it was to then fit the new blind.
Product arrived with wrong parts inside - the guide rails are too long by 5.5cm - and there are no screws (there should be 8) and no small plastic fitting items. So the product delivered to me is unusable. The agent took some minutes to understand my issue with this, but finally agreed to have the correct parts sent. However, these will be coming from Denmark, apparently, and will take time to arrive, Mesnwhile I cannot progress at all with the fitting. I am very unhappy with this situation, and I’m not convinced that I will receive the correct parts, despite my phone call to yourselves. It remains to be seen how this very unsatisfactory situation pans out. And believe me, I am the last person to ever complain about anything. Yours sincerely, Anthony Jennings in Somerset, UK
Top quality, the last blind lasted 15years and the new blind was very easy to fit.Easy to order using the reference number on the old blind.
I ordered the Blind and Mounting Brackets at the same time. The Blind arrived. There were no Mounting Brackets inside the box. Contacted the Customer Services Department in Glenrothes. Extremely helpful young lady advised they would arrive separately. Just wondering the thought process about this, as the cost of the Mounting Brackets cost £5.18 to purchase and the postage will nearly cost the same. It would save Velux money. Just a thought.
Website really easy to use - my velux window was 18 years old but I easily found what I needed using the code on the window label. Our blind arrived well packaged and was v easy to fit.
Completely satisfied with new blind, thank you. My only comment is that i ordered the plastic fitments (all of five pounds odd) only to find same fitments in blind pack,
This was a replacement blind (the original was still working). Fitting was easy and took about 15 minutes
