I'd put off ordering blinds for my Velux windows as I'd had a bad experience with another blind supplier for other windows in the house. I should not have worried! Choosing the right blind was very simple (once I had the window code) on the website. Order confirmation and other communications were good. Delivery came 2 or 3 working days quicker than expected. Fitting instructions were easy to follow with the following caveat: The height of my windows meant I needed a sturdy platform to work on and it was, essentially, a two-man job. An eye-level blind would be easy to fit, but, 12ft off the ground becomes a lot more fiddly. The blackout blinds look amazing and have made such a difference - the dark blue colour is classy. Overall I'd say I had an excellent experience with my Velux online purchase.

I have a small grey piece that fits somewhere on the blind but there is nothing in the instructions to say what it is for, what it does and where it fits on the frame.

We have old VELUX blinds and the number coding system is not straightforward. Hence I bought the wrong size. VELUX returns policy is not customer friendly as they do nitacceotvreyurnsnunkess in original packaging. Too late when blinds have been fitted almost to completion. E Bay full of people selling VELUX blinds that don’t fit and losing money as a result.

This was a replacement because the spring on the old blind roller had broken after 20 years of constant use. No complaints about the old one's durability. The new blind was very easy to install and an absolutely perfect fit.

Emailed customer service as I hadn’t realised that I would need an adaptor for each of my blinds, I had only ordered one. I got a call back from a very helpful staff member and was able to order and pay for an additional adaptor which was sent out with the rest of my order.

It is so easy to work out what you need with the code. Provides great reassurance that you are choosing the correct size. Great range of colours/transparency We chose the navy blackout ones to match existing curtains in the room and they look so smart. They move really smoothly and I really like the way it can be open any amount.
