Velux blinds are long lasting and good quality blinds. value for money. Tried a cheap one once and it was very disappointing quality.
Velux blind itself is brillant, but Parcelforce delivery was dreadful. We waited for the delivery two days in a row, each time we had been given a time slot for the delivery, tracked the driver - and shortly before getting here the tracking info switched to „address not found - parcel returned to depot“. A different driver on day 3 finally got here, without any problems. We have a normal address, Amazon and other deliveries always find us.
The Maintenance kit (ZZZ 220) took 9 days to be delivered which seems quite a long time. The information on the order form said different delivery times. In one place it said it would be delivered on 5 December, in another it place said delivery would be 12-13 working days and in another place it said delivery would be 4 -5 working days. It is confusing to get so many different delivery times for the same order so it would be helpful if this could be changed on the order form to be a consistent delivery time. Also the enclosed leaflet was not easy to follow. I had to look for a video on Youtube to show me how to install the Maintenance kit. However, once I\'d watched the video, the maintenance kit was easy to install and seems to have made a huge difference to my 3 velux windows as there has been no condensation on the inside of them since, despite some very cold nights.
I only ordered fabric samples which arrived promptly. I will be ordering a blind when plastering and decorating has been done in the New Year.
