I ordered the Blind and Mounting Brackets at the same time. The Blind arrived. There were no Mounting Brackets inside the box. Contacted the Customer Services Department in Glenrothes. Extremely helpful young lady advised they would arrive separately. Just wondering the thought process about this, as the cost of the Mounting Brackets cost £5.18 to purchase and the postage will nearly cost the same. It would save Velux money. Just a thought.
Website really easy to use - my velux window was 18 years old but I easily found what I needed using the code on the window label. Our blind arrived well packaged and was v easy to fit.
Completely satisfied with new blind, thank you. My only comment is that i ordered the plastic fitments (all of five pounds odd) only to find same fitments in blind pack,
This was a replacement blind (the original was still working). Fitting was easy and took about 15 minutes
We have bought blinds before and were extremely impressed with the quality and the ease of fitting. So we had no hesitation in ordering again.
The pictorial instructions are good and I guess any written instructions would be an issue, as you supply so many countries. I think it may have helped to be able to read in conjunction with the pictures. Love the product and design is very clever.
I ordered a blind and a telescopic pole, the blind came quickly, the pole apparently is coming on January 11th! Also the screws supplied need a special tool which is not advised at purchase so added cost !!
