If you have gone to the expnse of buying velux windows why compromise on the quality of the blinds
As the out of order blind device was hard to remove, can you give specific instructions on how to remove the whole device....I had to call a professional who used a screw driver to free the device , it would be useful to add the instructions how to proceed if the cassette( is it how you call it?) is hard to remove. Thanks.
The red plastic thing to pull the blind down is rubbish. The window is on a sloping roof and needs a much longer and strong pole to reach the blind when it is fully closed at the top of the window. Come on Velux make something useful I can buy.The pole you sell says it doesn’t do our window code.
Ordering of the blind was just so easy. I was going to employ someone to purchase and fit the blind. However after watching the installation video before purchasing I felt confident enough to buy the blind and install it myself. Purchasing was so easy as well. The code is on the Velux window, scan that and Bob’s your uncle. You order the blind for your velux window, the code is inside the window. Instructions how to order all part of the ordering process. I watched the video and followed the pictorial instructions and fitted it myself. A screwdriver was included with the fittings. So pleased with the blind and so proud of my achievements!
I was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t offered the specific screwdriver which I then had to go and find out what it was and buy it and the instructions for putting up are quite confusing that I got there in the end
