Fitting is straightforward, but if working at height on ladders it is clearly less so. To assist make the screwdriver head magnetic so screws are less likely to fall off during fitting
Ordered a black out blind for a GGL-1 Window. The blind fit in place perfectly however we were not supplied with the tabs the blind snaps onto at step 1. We have an older Velux window so expected something to go awry. With a bit of improvising it fits right in place. Delivery date was confusing as we recieved an email stating a certain delivery date. But it arrived at a complete different date and time than planned.
I don\'t know why you would use Torx screws, but you should include a Torx scewdriver because no normal householder will have one or even know what it is. Luckily, you used to include one, and I kept it from last time!
Had a velux installed in our new extension, we were unable to get it working, waited 3 months for engineer only to find that motor had to be replaced as it was faulty. This should not happen on something of such high value, in that respect we are very disappointed. We have basically had a sub standard product yet paid full price. The engineer was helpful & so were customer service. Would be sceptical to recommend based on the above.
When ordering the Web site let me select a date before Easter. I placed the order and got confirmation 2 weeks later. I called to ask to delay as I would not be available for the suggested date. I called and date was changed but delivery was still made when I was not available. Meaning I had to get someone home. Driver rung bell and left £450 order and walked off. Not a good service. Blinds now installed and look amazing
You supply Torx screws but no driver...either supply driver (as previously) or use pozidrive/Philip\'s screws.
