Item required was difficult to find on website so I contacted Velux UK direct. Very helpful. Order despatched but got \"stuck\" somewhere in system - reported non-delivery and a FOC replacement order was actioned by Velux and received shortly thereafter. Nice to speak to real people for a change, and very efficient, too.
Parcel force messed about with delivery, but the product is great and reduces the heat on our kitchen cupboards.
Having codes of products that are very similar is bound to create opportunities for customer error. this is then compounded by the error only becoming obvious when you try to fit the blind and then further compounded by the refusal to accept the return of the blind because it is now not \'new\'. very poor, and expensive system of ordering and failing.
We ordered two black out blinds in a bespoke fabric colour and the colour is perfect. It didn\'t take long for them to arrive and the packaging was all fine. The installation was a doddle, velux couldn\'t make it easier.
All excellent as ever. i have fitted a few of theses over the years however one very small but important note, it is very easy to miss the the little image in the installation document the switch that must be pushed to initiate the solar operated blind. We faffed for a good while until I noticed the switch. I suggest that you place a red arrow sticker near the switch
Ordered 5th June but still (20th) awaiting delivery of part of our order. Blinds delivered but still waiting for fixing brackets!
With so many blind types and control options the helpful and accurate advice of human customer support staff was essential for ordering the correct product, which works perfectly with a KLR200 remote control with automatic timer. Long live HI over AI !
