5 out of 6 windows have been damaged and needed to be replaced. Surely you need to change this process and/or the delivery company.
Delivery earlier than stated & arrived when we\'re away! Luckily a friend collected it for us. Can\'t review fully yet hence low score as the room it\'s going in is being decorated...
On your website the description of the product is insufficient e.g. I imagined a much easier installation system like the ones where there are two wooden rails at the side with notches permitting different positions for lowering the blind. The nylon pieces which screw to the bottom into which to fit the blind definitely need a longer bigger screw than that provided. The system for fitting the piece at the end of the cord is crazy.I succeeded in the end by reversing the order of the instructions and fitting the cord before screwing the nylon piece in place and on one of the blinds even securing it in place with some blue tack . When I was up a height in every sense of the word my main problem was getting cramp in my fingers working with hands over my head and repeatedly struggling to fit that cord retainer in place . Even the side retaining bars clicked into place far more easily when i realised that a larger screw in the nylon piece would give it a stronger hold making that process vastly easier. Having finished the installation my wife and I were very satisfied with the appearance and ultimate result although we had both imagined a matching wooden finish. It went with our colour scheme and so we were happy. I am 78 and my neighbour of a similar age said he had given up trying to install and had paid a man to do the job for him at additional cost. I am not a serial complainer but felt you ought to know
Velux as an organisation is very customer focused, and there are many companies out there who would do well to follow their shining example.
Very satisfied with the blind, great quality. Bought it to replace an old velux blind that lasted for 17 years and still looked in good condition. The quality of the blind is excellent. I needed to order the brackets and it would be better if the blind and the brackets came at the same time. Blind arrived on the Monday but couldn\'t fit the blind until the brackets arrived on the Friday.

The blinds are excellent - good quality, easy to fit, very happy ... the only downside was the mess up with only a partial address and a lot of chasing to sort it out.
