Velux is a fantastic product and I have used this service previously, well recommended.
My experience is the blind cord fails through friction and the whole blind needs replacing. Not good!
missing items. i needed the plastic lugs that you attach to the window frame for the blind to fit onto. none were sent. how am i meant to fit the blind? i had booked a handyman to fit the blind & now have to rebook assuming you send the missing part. surely when customers order a blind you should provide all the parts necessary to fit it?
Everything perfect and have already recommended to other people. The instructions are clear with the exception of the first step (electric blinds). The power to be unplugged and replied in is at the side of the velux window and the diagram indicates it is at the top. We fitted the blind and could not fathom how the power works. Also where the blind clips into the velux, you only have to remove one clip. Do not try to remove both clips. This could have been clearer. Overall though, (these are really minor feedback points) I’d highly recommend them.
I tried to cancel my order one day after placing it but was told that it had been despatched and I would have to wait for delivery and then go through the return process. The order arrived a week or so later without any prior notification of delivery day but luckily I was in. I completed the return process. I was not advised of a date or time slot for collection until someone called me as he couldn’t find the property but we were out. He promised to return the next day but didn’t. Customer services advised that it wasn’t on the collection list and I would have to wait until after Easter for it to be rearranged. Very poor service especially from the courier company. Still waiting!
