Due to supply delays during covid we ordered it early and have not yet installed it, so not sure how we are covered if the roofer opens up the box and it doesn’t work?

Accurate about delivery dates.

In the current retail environment where we are accustomed to receiving advanced notice of deliveries either the day before or the day of delivery - even for a small package - giving approximate times is not good enough for such large orders which require coordination at the point of drop-off. In our example, the driver as good as dumped a twelve hundred pound order of roof lights in front of the skip on the pavement outside our house, knocked on the front window as a means of letting my partner know our order was left there and - without so much as a \'there\'s your delivery note\' or \'are you alright to deal with this\' uttered the word \'windows\' and walked back to the van to drive away. I think a little more consideration and joined-up thinking about how the customer is meant to deal with their 110kg order alone without advance notice of delivery is necessary here. It would certainly be an improvement over the experience we had. It\'s a lot of money to spend on items left on the street for any length of time. Have a care for the customer receiving the goods who, I might add, may have been elderly, disabled, physically not strong enough to deal with the order without due notice.

Velux window was easy to fit, but found video on you tube more precise than supplied instructions.
