Bought VELUX blind £69.60 to replace broken one GGL MO4- design been changed so no mitre corners now in metal sides where it meets blind and found existing brackets wouldn’t work with new blind ( did on last one I replaced) so new brackets had to be ordered ( 2 small plastic squares with no weight in them =£6 and £5 delivery!!). Fitted new blackout blind and now discover it’s not a blackout blind as new blind sits short of top of window 2-3 mm so there’s a strip of light now coming in and light seen on sides of blind where new sides fitted- previous blind design does the job as blackout blind ( both windows side by side in roof) so in morning now light shines in through new fitted blind but nothing from older style of Velux blind. Have fitted strip of Gaffer tape to block out light!!
