It should have been mentioned that older VELUX windows would have different fittings to the ones attached to the new blinds. I thought the service was slow and delivery of the correct fittings slow too for what I would think to be a standard product. The customer service man I spoke to was very helpful. I did have to get the ladders and climb up to show him the existing fittings and number plate, which was tricky without someone to hold the base of the ladder.
