I was replacing an existing regular blind with a blackout blind. Nowhere did the website say that the blackout blinds use a different fitting to the regular blinds. Also there are no instructions for removing a blind. I managed to carry out the change but a) I spent time working out how to remove the old blind without damage to the window and b) I now have extra holes in the window frame because the fittings and screw sizes of the new blind are different.
