Although velux blinds are more expensive than some alternatives the extra cost is worth paying for well made, well fitted blinds. My latest purchase replaced a velux blind which was in place for about 15 years. In the interim I tried a cheaper alternative but that did not open and close properly and there were gaps. Would always replace with velux in the future if needed.
