The blinds that I ordered were easy to install, despite me having to do the installations of the four blinds up a very high set of step ladders. The pleated insulated blackout blinds do indeed provide excellent protection from the sun and help reduce heat buildup in the room on a hot summer day. So far I am really pleased, and very much hope that they don’t become problematic in any way in the future. It’s early days yet, but so far so good. Thank you!
