Installation is relatively straightforward. But sliding the side rails into the blind assembly can awkward to ensure it is correctly sitting into the shiny metal in the corner which is too easy not to engage in the side bar properly and not immediately apparent. Also pushing the blind onto the window it did not hold firmly enough onto the side retainers and fell out. This maybe an issue with windows in place for some years and the plastic has slightly shrunk due to heat? In any case more warning about these two potential issues should be given in the installation instructions
