I had the duo fitted when purchased original velux window. I live alone am very careful but it became faulty, I admit after 4 years. Firstly the pleated blind which i had to disconnect when one of the cables became detached then the other so removed whole thing. Have replaced with single black out which has yet to be fitted. Last summer I had the external sun blind fitted which was extremely effective.
