I have not fitted the new blind yet, as I have so far been unable to remove the old blind. There are several YouTube videos but only one of them was worth watching and even that didn’t really help. My blind was installed 20 years ago and while I have been told it may take a fair bit of strength to remove it, I am concerned that I will damage the window frame. I have no idea what the fixing points on the window frame look like and the installation instructions are very unhelpful. Clearer instructions with a step by step guide on exactly how to remove the blind would probably be a bit more helpful.
