I have bought many vellum blinds over the years and I've noticed how incremental improvements are made to the design. This time, a great improvement was the mechanism for retracting the blind, by slightly pushing in the bottom rail. This helps avoid the problem in the earlier deigns whereby uneven pressure to retract the blind can cause failure. Much better!
