Good quality product but instructions could have been a little clearer, perhaps with some explanatory text. Final assembly - pulling the cords to clip under the anchor points - could not be achieved without removing the plastic retaining clips and tis ran the risk of loosening the blinds before they were properly fitted
Blind fitted according to the instructions but gapes at both sides (coming out of channel). I cannot raise the blind and daylight is getting in at both sides. Extremely disappointed with the blind which was over £100 we came to you for the best product for the window and it\'s inferior.
Although the blinds have a very clever design enabling them to stay down when closed, the string sliding through a very weak plastic clip either end of the handle has now failed in two separate blinds (resulting in the infamous slack string), and have had to be replaced within just a few years of purchase. Frustrating and expensive!
Needed to replace the blind on the rooflight in my extension. The blind was about 20 years old and the operating cords had failed. I found it quite straighforward to identify the model and size no. from information on the website and ordering was quite easy. The blind arrived within 24 hours of orderinhg. It took me a couple of hours to remove the old blind and fit the new one but I am77 years old and had to use a ladder to reach the fitting points.It took me a little while to figure out the picture only instructions but once fitted the blind worked perfectly, Only problem was I did not realise that I needed to order the adapter for my operating pole as a separate item. However, i contacted Velux and an adapter was posted to me and my blind is now fully operational.
