One gripe. The parts didn’t fit together. I had to make my own alterations to get it to work. I’ve a photo to show why. All now fixed but not the quality I’ve always had from VELUX. Disappointing. Especially when you can get blinds from other providers which are as good but cheaper.
Sadly, this was a replacement blind for one where the string had broken. This rendered the blind useless and, it seems, not repairable.
Extremely helpful staff both times I contacted you for advice re product and ordering.
Two of the four boxes were damaged, battered and one box the end was hanging off. I latter found that the mounting bag which is packed at the end of the box was missing. Probably lying around the back of the delivery van? I immediately got intouch with customer service in Fife and the lady was really apologetic, she has send me a replacement mounting kit, which should arrive soon.
