Yes there was an overprovision of the metal sides. I did 4 windows but did not need the extensions for any of them. This was waste that I had to pay for but did not need.
The instructions are tricky to follow. Perhaps you could add some English as well as the picture guide. In particular, we didn’t understand the pictures about ensuring the side battons were pushed right up to the mechanism, so the first blind is skew and doesn’t seem to be correctable.
I purchased two solar powered blinds. Fitted and worked perfectly out the box. Very high standard of design and finish. I\'m very pleased with my purchase.
