Pleased with our new Velux blackout blinds. However we had to purchase different fixing brackets as the new blinds did not match those on our Velux windows. We followed the instructions and ordered the correct blinds but our windows are 30 years old and so the fixings must have changed
Having ordered 2 different blinds for 3 windows, all 3 arrived with the same product code which caused confusion. My original blinds were fitted to windows installed in 2005 which had wooden side strips into which the rod would sit at periodic intervals. Are these to be removed? Also your fitting instructions are not easy to understand
The correct blinds were delivered but they are impossible to fix to the GLL4 windows because there is no top attachment. I would like to speak to someone during daylight hours especially if the fault is not mine.
One thing about delivery. I was not informed on the day the blinds were delivered luckily I was in otherwise everything else was fine
