My scoring is lower than it could have been as, somehow, my Velux window has the wrong sash in it. Ordered the correct blind, for the label on the window, but my sash has no electrical connection behind the grey plastic top plugs. Removed and broke the grey plugs, phoned Velux as all seemed wrong. Great service over phone, but another 2/3 weeks wait for a now solar blind. Window has correct label, very odd. It’s been installed for probably 12 years. From memory I bought it from a Travis Perkins outlet, which may have been why it was at Travis Perkins in the first place? Odd though, as I’d previously made the window itself operate electrically.. I then realised I’d need new grey plugs to replace the broken ones, that wouldn’t fit the new blind. So phoned angain to order them. All a bit of a palarva. A month on, still haven’t got the blind I need.. just constructive feedback. When they work, Velux products are amazing
Dud make a mistake ordering the correct blind which was very quickly rectified by customer services. Product arrived ahead of schedule. Good quality product which I fitted myself as the instructions were clear much to the delight if my husband.
The blind I received doesn’t work properly and after contacting customer services I haven’t had a satisfactory outcome just instructions how it works . The blind won’t spring back up and I defective. Really dissatisfied
When my builder eventually figured out how to install the blind, after 3 hours, it was OK. We had to phone for technical support. I would suggest that you have someone to install the blind. It cost enough.
I had to contact customer services regarding a damaged blind...this was dealt with in a timely manner
