One of the reasons I choose Legacy ER & Urgent Care is because they have different levels of ER depending on the patient\'s needs. Basic needs like testing for Covid and sore throat will be treated at the entry level of an ER. That can save money and time. In case a patient needs further care, then the case will be escalated to the next level of ER care. Location is convenient. Also, I understand the ER can be an unpredictable place as far as time to see a doctor concerns. In the past, if I remember correctly, I was in and out in probably 30 minutes altogether. This time, in addition to the time waiting in the reception area, it took about 45 minutes just to get the results for the Covid and Influenza test, and see the doctor. Doctor explained the place was busy that day. But he doctor was attentive and gave me the attention needed by asking questions and working with me to provide the best care possible. Another thing, with my insurance I was used to paying $50 for the visit and this time I was charged $100 with same insurance and similar care provided. I mentioned that to the front desk and I was told to call my insurance if I had questions. Bottom line, I will be back to Legacy ER & Urgent Care if needed.
