I have now replaced 2 of my Velux blinds after 9 years. The quality and life expectancy are ok, not great. They are expensive replacements and the structure of the sides of the blinds is flimsy and the string mechanism has broken in both cases.

Ordered 25 November with 6-7 working days delivery quoted. Arrived 16 January. Sadly the reputation of a known brand noted for value for money and quality is being badly let down by unacceptable logistical performance.
