The website is brilliant to use. And well done Velux, for still supporting your older products (mine is a GGL 4). The roller blind kit has only 3 parts, but installation proved tricky. The worst part was marking and drilling the holes for fixing the main roller assembly, because even with the window closed, the roller\'s weight drags it out of the mounting brackets so the holes risk getting drilled in the wrong place. The roller assembly doesn\'t click onto its brackets, so you need one or more assistants to hold it firmly in place while the main person does the drilling and puts the screws in. Agonising! I think a simple drill template that slips over the mounting brackets would be a game changer here. The graphic instruction card is a bit vague on this, and the illustration of how to hold the blind partly open against the spring while marking and fixing those side screws is ambiguous. The small temporary locking tabs proved inadequate. I got it fixed in the end. After everything was installed and adjusted, I found that there was significant light coming in between the roller and the edge of the bezel. Hopeless above the bed! I had to take the whole kit down and pre-fit a light-blocking baffle between the window glass and the roller to stop that leak. Now it\'s all in place, the roller blind looks modern and smart, and the stepless positioning works like a dream! So it was definitely worth all the aggravation. I hope it will last for many years. Blind arrived not fully assembled, so had to assemble blind prior to installation. Had yo chase delivery as parts came from two sources.
