Many years ago we were fortunate to go to the Maldives and had a great experience with Kuoni. When we unexpectedly had the opportunity to go back to the Maldives again we didn't hesitate to go through Kuoni. The member of staff at your Bluewater shop was friendly & helpful. We had a budget of £8000 & when she advised us that we could have our dream holiday for £7800 approx. we were delighted. When she was processing the booking she admitted she made a mistake and it was now over £9000! We were so disappointed but decided to book it as we had now had our hearts set on the holiday. When we went home and obtained an on line quote from your website for exactly the same holiday we discovered it was considerably cheaper than what we had booked in store. We contacted the Bluewater store and they looked into it. They advised that the booking had been entered incorrectly (apparently she had booked us 2 rooms which we had not requested). The new total cost was still more than what we had been quoted on line a few hours earlier and the store refused to match this price. This has ruined our experience. This is an abridged version of events as it took several calls and numerous emails to resolve (unsatisfactorily).
